ERICA R. MAYON, ATTORNEY AT LAW
Erica R. Mayon is a graduate
of Southern University Law Center, where she earned her
Juris Doctorate degree in 2007. She was admitted to the
Louisiana bar in 2007. She earned a Bachelor of Arts
degree in English from the University of Louisiana at
Lafayette in 2004.
Mrs. Mayon prior
experience after admission to the Louisiana bar includes
a clerkship for Honorable Judge Lori Landry.
During that time she prepared
court documents for upcoming cases.
Prepared and wrote judgments and aided the Judge
in written reasons of the Court.
Erica acted as a liaison between attorneys and
the Court which also included the preparation of quantum
studies in connection with civil trials.
She is presently an
associate attorney with the law firm of Simien & Miniex.
Her practice areas include Personal Injury (plaintiff
and defense), and Energy Law.
She serves as assistant city-parish attorney for
the Lafayette City-Parish Consolidated Government and
serves as outside counsel for clients, including:
Louisiana Department of Revenue and Louisiana
Public Service Commission.
Mrs. Mayon is admitted to
practice law in all Courts of the State of Louisiana,
United States District Courts for the Western, Middle
and Eastern Districts of Louisiana and United States
Bankruptcy Courts for the Western, Middle, and Eastern
Districts.
She is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association
and American Bar Association.
